Founded in 1956, Lincoln Aero Club has been at the heart of grassroots aviation in Lincolnshire for nearly seven decades. Born from a passion for flight and fellowship, the Club has evolved from a small group of dedicated aviators into a vibrant, forward-thinking aviation community.

Operating from the historic grounds of RAF Sturgate, our airfield carries echoes of the past - from its Royal Air Force heritage to generations of pilots who have taken their first solo flights from its runway. We are proud custodians of that legacy, preserving its character while shaping its future.
